Through this intensive day session we will look at extracting and fixing organic colours, initially to fabrics and then in to pigments for paint making. We will make a huge range of colours from things that can be found in the kitchen and also out in the wilds, including using mushrooms and seaweeds.

We will start the day by looking through a range of samples, then extracting our own colours, fixing these to fabrics, we will have lunch and try a range of wild herbal teas, after lunch we will move on to laking our dyes in to pigments and making our own paints. Everyone will leave with a range of dyed colour samples, paint samples and a range of organic handmade water colours.
