The Great Pottery Throw Down

Sara Cox invites 10 home pottery enthusiasts to gather in Stoke-on-Trent to find a champion of British pottery.  Ceramic artist Kate Malone and also master potter Keith Brymer Jones will judge their craft skills and creativity. Things get under way with the challenge to produce a 16-piece dinner set. They then decorate a pair of jugs and demonstrate their prowess at the wheel by throwing the tallest cone they can in 15 minutes.

Radio Times There’s an exciting special guest, the goddess of spongeware herself, and patron saint of middle-class kitchens throughout the land, the almighty Emma Bridgewater, who’s on hand to judge a challenge.
