Pottery Course

The day begins with an introduction to Craft – Hand Made Pottery in the way of an ice breaker to get your hands dirty. The morning continues with more hands on experience using the most common methods of making including the Potters Wheel.
The Potters Barn Throwing on the WheelA lunch break is taken around 1pm. You are welcome to bring your own or visit one of our local pubs or restaurants.
The afternoon continues with more tuition and personal workshop time according to your individual development. Additional information on techniques, decorating, finishing, firing, glazing etc will be    provided if and when it is of interest or relevant to the student.

Pottery Course at The Potters Barn

The pottery course is concluded with a review of the work produced and the choice of items to be fired.
These can be collected three to four weeks later.

Course costs £95
Refreshments Tea/Coffee are provided

Firing costs are additional and depend on size of the item.
