Craft Pottery Long Session 101 Course

Your session begins with an introduction to Hand Made Craft Pottery and an ice breaker to get your hands dirty. We then continue with more hands on experiences exploring the most common methods of making including the Potters Wheel.
The Potters Barn Throwing on the WheelDuring the four hour session you will be shown different ways of making pottery. They will include useful and easily learnt handbuilding methods that will get you making in no time at all. You will be given demonstrations before you try your hand including making your own work on the traditional potters wheel.

Pottery Course at The Potters Barn

Finally the pottery session is concluded with a review of your work produced. You will then be able to choose items to be fired if you wish. There is a small charge to cover the firing of the items.
These can be collected three to four weeks later.

Firing costs are additional and depend on size of the item.
Course costs £95
