Last summer term my Year 1 class spent a very enjoyable day at the Potters Barn engaging in a variety of activities including the wheel, play clay, coiling and painting clay animals. I would very much like to repeat the experience this year with 11 girls aged 5-6.

Just a short letter to say thanks, so much for the work you did with our year 5 and year 6 children. They really enjoyed the afternoon of clay modelling. I have included some photographs of the children working and some of their finished clay containers and tiles. They were really pleased with the finished products. Colleagues and myself were really pleased with the two afternoons that were completed. I thought they were really well organised and paced excellently to match the capabilities of the children. I also thought the cost of the workshops were extremely good value for money in that the children had all they made to take home.
Thank you once again and I hope the school will ask you back for other projects in the future.

Just to say thank you so much for the workshop on Tuesday 7th July. Our pupils got so much out of the day and Michelle, my collegue, threw her first pot on our wheel at school on Wednesday! I’ll send you a photo along with others that we took.

Thank you so much for last week, the kids all really enjoyed it and the pottery all looked really good, we managed to paint them all as well before they went home and they’re very proud of what they did! You did a great job getting all of the kids, even the less able ones, involved in doing the wheel, so we’re very grateful for your help and we really appreciated it.
