Pottery Course
This has been replaced with a Long Session (4 hours) 1pm to 5pm due to Covid 19.
Your day begins with an introduction to Hand Made Craft Pottery and an ice breaker to get your hands dirty. The morning continues with more hands on experience exploring the most common methods of making including the Potters Wheel.
A break for lunch is taken around 1pm. You are welcome to bring your own or visit one of our local pubs or restaurants if you rather.
The afternoon will continue with even more tuition and personal workshop time. This will be geared to your individual development. Additional information on techniques, decorating, finishing, firing, glazing etc will also be provided if needed and is of interest to the student.
Finally the pottery course is concluded with a review of your work produced. You will then be able to choose which items you wish to be fired.
These can be collected three to four weeks later.
