Creative Clay
School Workshop Visits from The Potters Barn.
We have over 25 years experience in making pottery, are passionate about teaching it and would therfore welcome the opportunity to work with your school and pupils.
For schools, out of school clubs, nurseries and childcare groups The Potters Barn provides creative clay visits. These are very popular with all age groups.
Children respond positively to the hands on immersive sessions, which are taught in a supportive and positive environment. Key skills are learnt while exercising their imagination and creative expression.
Visits to the pottery or your school can be as short as one hour or all day in length. Their is a choice of projects to do during your pottery session and curriculum topics can also be covered.
Some of the activities on offer include:
• Potters Wheel
• Hand building
• Making clay animals
• Pottery painting
We are happy to fire any of the work made by your pupils.
With so much experience and variety, The Potters Barn really is a first class venue for your pupils to enjoy an engaging, creative and novel experience that will fire their creative interests.
